Feature Band

jango: Something that comes together unexpectedly and turns out
better than one could have planned.

rhythm: The pattern of musical movement through time.

Jango Rhythm has a fresh and unique sound. A blend of original music ranging from folksy roots rock n'roll to atmosphere and groove to hard driving rock. Their sound has a vintage rock n'roll feel with a modern edge. The songs are beautifully crafted and are as powerful as they are touching. Lyrics that cry out themes of hope, love, loss and belonging and touch all aspects of the human condition. From good times to desperation, it's all reflected in their music. Real life. Real emotions. Songs that connect people.

On lead vocals is Adam Berry. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee he got involved in music at an early age. Later he moved to Texas and has lived in Houston and Austin. One can hear the influence of Tennessee and Texas in his writing style. While in Houston he has recorded and produced three solo CDs and he began to form Jango Rhythm in 2001. Guitarist Johnny Rock was born in central Texas and was raised on healthy helpings of Southern rock, legendary blues, and screaming leads. Drummer Chris Drabeck was born and raised in Victoria, TX. and has played for attentive audiences on both regional and European tours. Bassist Phil Peterson is originally from the Houston area and has played in a number of cover bands and original projects here over the past 10 years.

PRE-SIMPLIFY is the first official Jango Rhythm release. It was recorded and mixed at Sugarhill Studios with well-known and respected engineer/producer Dan Workman and John Griffin. Included with the release is a music video/dvd for the hit single "Easy Woman."
