The Down and Dirties

You wanted the best? TOUGH, you got The Down and Dirties.

That's one of the many trash talking but true quotes on The Down and Dirties' minimal but effective web site. The music is straight grab you by cajones rock & roll with big punk riffs and heavy but clear vocals. Songs are hosted at my favorite mp3 site mp3.com/the_down_and_dirties. Great pics on the bands web site of Bill - Lead Guitar / Vocals, Christian - Guitar / Vocals, Gilbert - Bass, Stevie - Drums, and Tod - Lead Vocals, hittin' it hard like some Texas style Ramones, or better yet, a southern fried Iggy & The Stooges. They are mixing and mastering their new album and it's looking like the record shoud be out by late November or early December. The Down & Dirties have the distinction of being the first (of many bands) on Rad Roach Records, a new local Houston label for punk and rock bands. The fabled "Rock 'n' Roll Frankenstein" video, from their split 7" record with WD40oz, will finally be debuted in late October or early November.
